607,568     1966 Mustangs produced of which

      35,698     were Fastbacks and 5,469 Mustangs were fitted with K Code engines

        2,378     K Code Fastbacks were converted to GT350 Shelby’s and

        1,378     were Shelby Street Cars (not Hertz, drag cars, convertibles) & of those

             11    had Factory fitted Paxton Superchargers and presently

               9    Factory fitted Paxton ’66 Shelby’s are accounted for and

               3    were painted Candy Apple Red and this car, SFM62265 is one of them

        14 Nov. 1966   delivered to Shelby American company exec. Jack Randall

       3 March 1967   sold to Hayward Motors, Inc., Hayward, California. for $2900

           Circa 1967   on sold and shipped to San Juan, Puerto Rico; eventually painted

                                   white and raced several times at Caguas, Puerto Rico

           Circa 1990   purchased by E. Gonzalez intending to restore it (but didn’t)

          3 May 2004   purchased by current owner (unrestored)

            June 2004   restoration commences Tim Lenon, Legend Restorations, Michigan

        21 Jan. 2008   restoration completed (part time ‘04, '05, ’06, full time ‘07)

       4 March 2008   arrived at Fremantle, Australia on ship “Kookaburra 1”
